Newquay Surf Life Saving Club
Our clubhouse is situated within the Fistral Surf Complex and we meet there throughout the summer, as well as at other local beaches - usually from the beginning of May to the end of September. Nippers and Sandhoppers can often be seen training on a Sunday morning during the summer at a beach in the bay or at Porth.
During the remaining months we meet at local swimming pools. Depending on pool availability- Nippers/Sandhoppers on a Sunday, Youth - Monday night and seniors a Tuesday night.
The club is run in four age groups:
Sandhoppers - 5+
Nippers - 7 to 12/13
Youth - 13 to 18
Seniors - 18 plus
A committee is responsible for the general running of the club. An AGM is held each year which is open to all members and parents.
