RLSS UK has partnered with the Anaphylaxis Campaign - the only UK-wide charity solely focused on supporting people at risk of severe allergic reactions. This IQL Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis covers providing First Aid to an unresponsive casualty and recognising a casualty with anaphylaxis. The Anaphylaxis Management course is endorsed by CIMSPA.
RLSS UK is regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA in Northern Ireland.
Prerequisites:
This course is recommended for everyone. Candidates must be a minimum of 16-years-old, at the time of taking the assessment. No prior knowledge is required.

Assessment:
Basic Life Support and the Management of Anaphylaxis is Trainer assessed throughout the course. The assessment should determine a candidate's ability to act safely, promptly and effectively to deal with a casualty suffering from anaphylaxis.
Renewal:
To re-qualify, candidates must complete the four hours of training and assessment again.
