Life Leisure is the trading name for Stockport Active CIC which is a Community Interest Company, formed in 2021, and is wholly owned by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council. As a CIC, our emphasis is to provide high quality leisure facilities and programmes across the borough. Being a CIC means that all revenue generated is reinvested back into services and the wider community, we exist to benefit our local community in Stockport.
Life Leisure run an extensive mix of sports and leisure facilities, ranging from small community recreation centres to large multi use state of the art sport and leisure facilities. In addition we deliver sporting activities and health programmes of the highest quality to those people who for one reason or another cannot access a local facility.
