Club's Mission Statement:
About Droylsden Life Saving Club
Established in 1971, Droylsden Life Saving Club is a community-focused organization dedicated to providing lifesaving awards and qualifications to the vibrant community of Droylsden and its surrounding areas. Our club is proudly affiliated with the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) and is an active member of the Tameside Sport and Physical Activity Network.
Over the past five decades, our club has been instrumental in promoting water safety and drowning prevention through our comprehensive range of training programs. We are committed to equipping people of all ages and backgrounds with essential lifesaving skills, fostering a safer and more confident community in and around water.
Our dedicated committee consists of passionate volunteer members who continuously strive to support and develop the club. We are always eager to welcome enthusiastic new members to join us in our mission to create a safer community and help drive our club forward.
Currently, our lifesaving activities are based at Active Medlock in Droylsden, operated by Active Tameside. This partnership enables us to offer exceptional leisure facilities to our local community while encouraging social interaction, promoting economic benefits, and supporting a healthier and more active lifestyle for everyone involved.
We take great pride in our club's long-standing history and the positive impact we have made in the community. To learn more about our club, please visit our website or contact us via email.
