Broadstairs Lifeguard and Swiming Club (BLSC).
We welcome you to our profile. BLSC is a volunteer swimming club with all our teachers, poolside helpers, committee and other support staff all working for the benefit of the sport.
We are a teaching club and offer development in all four strokes, but to ensure everyone can benefit from water based activities we also promote, Life Saving Skils, Waterpolo and Syncro as contrasting activities.
We are based at the Ramsgate Swimming pool and swim every Thursday night starting in the small pool at 18:50 and carrying on through teaching and training until 22:00 for the older swimmers.
We also train our older swimmers to teach on poolside and (subject to finances) support development in Swimming teaching Level 1 and 2, training courses.
